This is a cozy little place to collect pictures and memories of our homeschooling journey with four great kids.
"But we hold that all education is divine, that every good gift of knowledge and insight comes from above, that the Lord the Holy Spirit is the supreme educator of mankind, and that the culmination of all education (which may, at the same time, be reached by a little child) is that personal knowledge of and intimacy with God in which our being finds its fullest perfection."

A day at the TN Aquarium!
My neglected blog has some new pics! We had to take a detour (literally) in Chattanooga due to a major traffic jam that took hours to clear. We had fun in spite of wanting to get home after long hours in the car.
How do you get such amazing shots with your camera? How beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. My kids will be excited to see your pics!
Hi Caroline! I posted a comment on your blog earlier, but it seems to have disappeared! Oh well... I found your blog at SCM and am glad I did - it's lovely. Your pictures are great! I have read some of your posts on SCM website so in a way I feel like I already know you somewhat. :) Look forward to reading more of your posts here and at SCM.
We have a fairly pure Charlotte Mason homeschool. Through her writings I have come to trust her conclusions about children and their learning preferences. We use as many "living books" as possible and tend to use materials from multiple sources. Please do not think that we do ALL the curriculum listed below every day! As we finish one great book we move on to the next...
Coming soon.... need to find new portfolio and Barnes and Noble

Living History Through Narration, Copywork, and Dictation
This year we are continuing with our nightly read-alouds. We will finish the last few books from the Laura Ingalls Wilder series and then move on to the Lord of the Rings series.
